The film is an action thriller and will reportedly feature Ash in a strong role as a lawyer while Irrfan plays a suspended cop, at loggerheads with erring police authorities. Director Sanjay Gupta said, "There is no romantic track in the film. The film primarily revolves around the protagonist and her fight against the system."
She will essay the role of a lawyer. Irrfan Khan cast in a role of a suspended cop while Shabana Azmi will be playing the role of a mother. Chandan Roy Sanyal plays the main antagonist in the film. Siddhanth Kapoor will be essaying the role of a troubled individual undergoing psychiatric treatment.
The first look of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's much-awaited comeback film Jazbaa was unveiled on Twitter on 19 May. The poster, featuring only the Bollywood star, was tweeted by filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, and within minutes of the release, Jazbaa took Twitter by storm. The poster shows a disheveled Bachchan squatting on the ground and covered with grime against a background of city high-rises.
